Another wonderful Bonus Block today, this one is called Star Turn.
This block was cut and assembled just as the instructions indicated.
I placed my toweling stripes in piece F, cutting 2 squares with the stripe placement all matching.
Once the half square triangles are sewn then the stripes look like they are spinning around in the block.
The toweling fabric was starched prior to cutting, making it crisp and stable for sewing.
When you sew across the diagonal to create the half square triangles, just check that both pairs will end up the same, before you sew. Just pin the diagonal and fold the fabric back.
