Summer Solstice New Quilt Patterns

Summer Solstice wovens and toweling will be arriving in stores April 2026. I can't wait!

This blog will introduce all the new quilt patterns that I have designed using my new line of woven fabrics. Look for the next blog that showcases all the toweling projects.

There are 5 quilts designed for this collection. You can purchase the patterns from your local quilt store or directly from my website, both paper and PDF downloads are available.

This quilt is Nocturne PTT 277.

Nocturne is 61" x 81" and is designed to use 1 Layer Cake.

You will need to add a background, an accent and binding.

The background for this and the other white backgrounds is Moda Bella Solid 9900 200.

PTT 278 is Sunwashed and is 78" x 88".

Moda have decided to offer this quilt as a kit, so look out for it in your local quilt store.

I just really love how this quilt turned out, it is sunny and fresh and just makes me smile.

Perfect for someone who brings some sunshine into your life.

PTT 279 is Woven Blooms.

This quilt measures 68" x 68" and is made using a Layer Cake.

You will need to add yarage for the trellis, backgrounds and borders.

Another happy, Summery quilt.

Starstruck PTT 280 measures 84" x 84".

A nice big quilt that uses a Fat 1/4 bundle to make all the stars.

I love this photo with the sun behind the quilt, making the stars shine.

I have used a Moda Bella Solid for the background and the code is 9900 236.

PTT 281 - 12 Bar Blues is the fifth and final quilt using Summer Solstice wovens.

It features lots of serene blues from the fabric line and measures 80" x 80".

When quilts are made with yarn dyed wovens they can often look quite masculine. My aim with this fabric line was to create quilts that were happy, sunny and light.

I think Nocturne and Starstruck are quite masculine style quilts but the other 3 are fresh and pretty; something a little different for traditional yarn dyed wovens.
