This quilt is made using a Layer Cake plus the background and sashing.  It is pretty quick to make and I think it would be a lovey quilt for a man.  I have used a Layer Cake from my Vista line of wovens for Moda.
If you had a floral layer cake the look would be entirely different and it would be a femine and pretty quilt.
Measures 78" square
